Design Notes

We needed to isolate the isolate the ccdB gene (BBa_K1300005) from the RBS. We needed a coding ccdB for other parts of our project. Therefore, we designed primers which would amplify only the ccdB region of the translational ccdB.

Source

We used our synthesized gene string of ccdB [1] as the template DNA for the PCR amplification. The PCR product would be a coding ccdB.
